Ankles?

One day before my due date, my ankles turn to cankles. I have barely swollen at all, but at the end, I get the fattest ankles. They really aren't that bad, but it was a surprise to see them after I took my shoes off after work today. Maybe it's a sign. Could my child come on his own tomorrow or is he waiting for the push that will come on Friday? Stubborn child- just like his daddy! :)

Date Night?

We are really on a kick to do as many dates as possible. However, I think we might be cheating. Does going to Babies R' Us, Wal-Mart, Dairy Queen, and then to the couch for an episode of The Office qualify? This has turned out to be a pretty typical date night for us. Maybe a trip to the Shrewt Family Farm Bed and Breakfast would do us some good.

39 weeks and the baby really is coming!

My final doctor's appointment was today- my induction is set for October 26 at 6am. Chad was fine with it until I told him what time we had to be there. Definitely a lot of mixed emotions for us. We're excited but shocked that the end is in sight. It's almost like reality just set in... we're going to be parents... soon.
