Weston's Favorite Playthings

It looks like Wes is going to take after his dad in looks and habits. He loves to talk on the phone and hit a ball around. For those of you who think the cell phone talking is me, check our phone bill. Not even close.

Walking Weston

Wes has started walking and running. He mostly tries to run and then nose dives on the carpet. He hasn't hit anything big yet, but we're waiting. His birthday is in 1 1/2 weeks and I can hardly believe it. He uses sippy cups, loves to read books, and throws fits when I move him away from the dog food. Definitely a big boy.

10 1/2 months old

Weston is has become much more interactive with us lately. He throws fits in Wal-Mart, tells me "no" when I stop reading stories to him, and tries to steal the camera.

We learned recently that Wes doesn't like bubble baths. He whines through the whole thing and tries to get me to pick him up. I'm not sure what he doesn't like, but I think it's the fact that he can't see what's under the bubbles!

*I don't like powdered sugar on my brownies.
*I wish I liked seafood. It's pretty and most people love it.
*I don't think I'm as ditsy as I come across.

Swimming, swimming in the swimming pool!

Lately, Weston and I have been a little bored in the afternoons so we've been going to a friend's pool. Chad and I bought him a floaty today and he loves it. Kicking his feet and chewing on all his pool toys... it was great fun for both of us!

Messy Guy!

Wes was so cute during dinner today. He smeared his chicken and vegetables all over his face and into his eyes. His face is still stained yellow, despite the bath and scrubbing to get it off. Harley got to enjoy some of it too.

Finally...

After much begging from my mom, I'm finally posting some more pics and hopefully a video. Chad and I are having fun with Wes. He skooches around the house on his belly trying to get to a toy or a lap. On rare occasions, we find something that makes him laugh but it will only work one time. Anyway, here are a few pictures of our little cutie!

Roly Poly!

Weston has started to push himself up on his hands and knees! It's so funny and he loves to do it. He gets a little surprised when he falls over.

Bath Time!

Bath time is a favorite at our house. Wes loves to be in the tub. He is just figuring out that when he kicks his feet, water flies everywhere. He also likes to sing, or listen to, Rubber Ducky and some other random Sesame Street song about the bathtub even though mom doesn't know all the words.

Mama's Sweet Boy

Weston is turning into the sweetest little boy! He smiles at everything, even when he wakes up in the morning or just throws up an entire bottle. Although, when the camera comes out, he gets very somber. He's getting close to rolling over, but won't go that last little bit. He doesn't laugh just yet, but squeals and gasps when he gets excited. Why do I deserve something so sweet? I've never known such joy. I apologize for our ridiculous voices in these videos. Weston makes us do crazy things! :)
